About Swerve

A senior partner for difficult, important work.

Swerve Molecular Consulting helps founders, executives, boards, and investors in regulated diagnostics and life sciences navigate high-consequence decisions through rigorous, integrated scientific, clinical, regulatory, and strategic judgment.

From scientific detail to enterprise and investment decisions.

Robert Crisp is a diagnostics executive and scientist with more than two decades of experience building technologies, products, teams, and organizations in FDA-regulated environments. His work spans early technical development, analytical and clinical validation, regulatory strategy, portfolio leadership, commercialization, and executive governance.

Across leadership roles at BioFire Diagnostics and bioMérieux, Robert helped advance molecular and microbiology products through dozens of FDA clearances while leading multidisciplinary organizations and substantial R&D portfolios. He has also served as a founder, chief scientific and regulatory officer, board director, scientific advisor, and consultant to emerging companies and investors.

Swerve was founded to make that operating experience available where it can have the greatest impact: helping innovators build credible value and helping investors understand the evidence, opportunity, risk, and execution path behind it.
